As 2009 winds down and many of us are traveling to see friends and family over the next week or so, it's easy to get sidetracked in the hustle and bustle.
Do yourself a big favor: take a moment or two and reflect on the year you had in the reverse mortgage business. How many families did you help? How many seniors will enjoy the holiday season a bit more because the reverse mortgage made their financial picture brighter and the worry is off their minds?
I know I normally write about meeting goals and increasing production, and this has been a tough year for some. So for just a minute, focus on the positive impact you had on the seniors in your community and their families. Give yourself that gift.
I wish all readers out there a truly happy holiday season. If you are traveling, be safe.
Looking forward to a fantastic 2010 - in reverse.
