CoreLogic Shows Increase in Revenue in 4Q

CoreLogic saw fourth-quarter revenue increase thanks to growth in its data and analytics business, driving the company into the black.

Revenue reached $345.5 million last quarter, a rise of 5% from the same time the year before, as net income increased to $16.5 million in comparison to a loss of $9.3 million during 2013's fourth quarter, which the Irvine, Calif.-based analytics firm said was driven by a $42.2 million impairment charge.

Data and analytics revenue grew 16% to $164 million thanks primarily to insurance and property data demand.

CoreLogic's diluted earnings per share were up 28 cents to $0.18, from a loss of $0.10 per share last year. Adjusted earnings per share were up 12%, to $0.28, according to the company.
