Ellie Mae's Second-Quarter Net Income Up 39%

Ellie Mae had net income of $10.6 million for the second quarter, a 39% increase over the same period one year ago as revenue per Encompass user increased 14%.

For the second quarter of 2015, the company had net income of $7.6 million.

There are now 153,334 active users of its Encompass loan origination system, up from 126,862 at the end of the second quarter last year. The average revenue per user is $601, up from $526 last year.

Total revenue increased to $90.1 million, compared with $65.9 million on a year-over-year basis.

Ellie Mae raised its guidance for its full-year net income to between $27.5 million and $28.5 million, up from a range of $23.5 million to $25.5 million.

In the past year, Ellie Mae has added customer relationship management firm Mortgage Returns and in August 2014 it acquired AllRegs.
