GMAC Mortgage has hired another former top executive from MetLife Home Loans, this time Randy Levine, who will serve as Southwest regional manager for the national lender.

Earlier this week National Mortgage News reported that GMAC, which also uses the trade name Residential Capital Corp., hired ex-MetLife Home Loans manager Paul Ramos.
Among all residential funders, GMAC/ResCap ranks sixth, according to NMN and the Quarterly Data Report. It funds mostly through the retail and wholesale channels, having recently trimmed its correspondent efforts.
In January MetLife, the parent company of MLHL, closed its residential production division, giving pink slips to 4,300 workers.
