GMH Mortgage Services, Newtown Square, Pa., hired industry veteran Karen Bausman as its new president.
Until recently Bausman served as senior vice president of correspondent sales at Bank of America. B of A is now in the process of exiting that channel.
"Karen has a proven track record of generating tremendous sales growth and production in each of her previous positions," said Joseph Macchione, CEO of GMH Mortgage.
"Her experience in building successful sales platforms, product expansion in both retail and Internet-based originations along with her strategic recruiting efforts make her an ideal fit for GMH Mortgage.”
At B of A Bausman increased mortgage product sales during each year of her tenure there, while also increasing the bank’s client base.
Prior to working at B of A she served as a senior vice president of correspondent sales for IMC Mortgage.
