CharterMac, New York, has reported net income of $12.2 million for the third quarter, an 18.3% increase from $10.3 million in the third quarter of 2001.On a per-share basis, though, the multifamily financier's net income declined to $0.28 per share, down 11.8% from $0.31 per share a year earlier. The company's revenues rose to $28.6 million, up 48.3% from $19.3 million in the comparable period of last year.
