CMBS Loan Prices Increased in November: DebtX

The price of loans securing commercial mortgage-backed securities increased in November, according to DebtX, a Boston-based advisor for commercial, consumer and specialty finance debt.

"CMBS loan prices rose modestly in November, an uptick from the past two consecutive months of steady pricing," Will Mercer, DebtX’s managing director, said in a press release. "However, the year-over-year increase was more substantial, with prices jumping from 92.7% in 2013 to 99.1% in 2014."

Median adjusted loan-to-values stayed level at 59% in November compared with October, with the median debt service coverage ratio remaining at 1.42. Median estimated loan yields sank to 4.1%, according to DebtX.
