CoreLogic appoints COO Frank Martell as president and CEO

CoreLogic has named Frank Martell as president and chief executive officer in the wake of Anand Nallathambi's death.

Martell had served as the Irvine, Calif.-based company's chief operating officer since 2014. He joined CoreLogic in 2011 as the company's chief financial officer.

In addition to becoming president and CEO, Martell will also join CoreLogic's board of directors. These changes will take effect immediately, the company said Monday.

"Martell worked closely alongside Mr. Nallathambi for the past six years as the company executed an aggressive growth strategy to transform CoreLogic into a global leader in residential property-related data-driven insights in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand," CoreLogic Chairman Paul Folino said in a news release.

"He is well-known and respected by the company's employees, clients and investors and I believe his intimate knowledge and extensive experience with the company make him uniquely qualified to lead CoreLogic."

Before CoreLogic, Martell was president and CEO of the Western Institutional Review Board, which provides regulatory and ethical review services to researchers studying humans. Before that he held various leadership positions at ACNielsen Corp., a global marketing research firm.
