Stonegate Mortgage Corp., Indianapolis, has hired Flagstar veteran Paul Wyner as senior vice president/national sales manager in charge of third-party residential lending, National Mortgage News has learned.
Wyner, who replaces John Dennison, joins the privately held lender from Flagstar where he worked for the past five years. (At that shop, Flagstar was bringing in about $400 million to $500 million per month in TPO loans.)
Dennison has accepted another position at the firm as senior vice president in charge of sales performance management.
In a memo to staff Stonegate EVP Steve Landes noted, “With the explosive growth we anticipate in the coming months and years it is important that we continue to add additional talented team members.”
Stonegate ranked 29 among all wholesale funders in the first quarter but had one of the highest growth rates nationwide: 72%, according to figures compiled by NMN and the Quarterly Data Report.
