Due diligence provider Allonhill has hired former mortgage banker Mark Korell as its chief sales and marketing officer.

In May Korell parted ways with JPMorgan Chase where he worked for four years in its correspondent division.
Korell served as Western divisional manager for JPM and was based in Denver. (Allonhill is also based in Denver.)
During his long career in residential lending Korell was CEO of Norwest Mortgage, which eventually became Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
In May Allonhill, after losing a consulting contract with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, let go dozens of employees, according to industry consultants who were briefed on the matter.
