The U.S. Government Services Administration entered into a contract with eMASON that will allow federal agencies to purchase the mortgage technology vendor’s software at negotiated prices.
The company’s Clarifire product is a software-as-a-service loss mitigation platform that centralizes communication with servicers, investors, borrowers and others in the loss mitigation process to collaborate on potential workouts for distressed homeowners. It’s a Web-based software that eMASON says can serve as a single point of contact for borrowers and is currently used by Fannie Mae.
The GSA conducts due diligence and negotiates prices and terms with vendors of a variety of services and products on behalf of the federal government. When agencies do their procurements with GSA-approved vendors, they pay a set fee and can acquire the services or goods faster because the review and bidding process has already been completed.
IndiSoft, which provides a suite of servicing software, including a similar loss mitigation module,
eMASON is based in Clearwater, Fla.
