Inland Real Estate Investment Corp., Oak Brook, Ill., said that Brian Conlon has been named to the position of chief executive officer.

Conlon will oversee the aligned strategic vision for Inland-sponsored investment products, including nontraded REITs, private placement offerings and institutional funds.
Conlon will continue to serve as a director of Inland Real Estate Investment Corp. and as president and a director of Inland Securities Corp., the wholly owned dealer manager subsidiary of Inland Real Estate Investment Corp.
Conlon, who joined Inland in 1999, began his career in the securities industry in 1983.
