McGlinchey Stafford PLLC said that Ross Benson and Lacy Triplett have joined the firm's national commercial litigation and financial services compliance and Litigation practice groups in Birmingham.

Triplett defends consumer financial services litigation claims in lender liability actions in state and federal courts on behalf of national and state banks, mortgage servicers and other financial institutions.

Benson provides regulatory and compliance counsel to financial service companies including banks, finance companies, mortgage companies and online lenders.

LoanDepot has named mortgage industry veteran Steve Kay vice president, strategic alliances.

Kay brings to the firm experience in the alliance space having held similar roles at Summit Funding, Bank of America and Countrywide Home Loans.

Homespire Mortgage has hired Fobby Naghmi as executive vice president, national director of strategy and growth.

Naghmi, who has 25 years of mortgage experience, previously served as senior vice president of the Eastern division of Planet Home Lending.

Additionally, he started his own mortgage company in 2000, Horizon Mortgage Corp.

Prior to joining Gateway, Ramm served as EVP of capital markets at Stearns Lending.

He was also VP of capital markets at MetLife Bank and SVP, interest rate risk management at First Tennessee Bank and First Horizon Home Loans.

Guaranty Home Mortgage Corp. has promoted Kelly Rigol to vice president, Northeast underwriting manager.

Rigol brings to the firm more than 28 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
