Cloudvirga, a provider of digital mortgage software, has appointed Tim Von Kaenel to the role of chief product officer.
Immediately before joining Cloudvirga, he served as chief product officer at loanDepot, where he drove technology strategy for the company's digital mortgage lending platform.
Prior to his tenure at loanDepot, Von Kaenel led startups in the financial services, software and wireless broadcast sectors.
Remax Holdings Inc., the parent company of Remax and Motto Mortgage, has hired Jerry Modes as senior vice president, information technology.
Modes will oversee internal IT operations, membership data infrastructure and the ongoing development of data-driven Remax products.
He brings to the company more than three decades of industry experience, and also co-founded two new-concept tech companies — Teradata and HyperParallel.
William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance said that Jorge Rivera will rejoin the mortgage division as regional vice president of sales for William Raveis Mortgage for the Southwest Connecticut region, in addition to New York and Florida.
Rivera has more than 22 years of experience as a mortgage banker and from 2006-2014 served as one of WRM's top producers.
Proper Title has hired Angela Castillo as senior title examiner, Carol King as escrow officer and Dawn Wheatland as sales coordinator. The firm also promoted Beth LaSalle to education and compliance manager.
Castillo joins Proper Title's downtown Chicago office after a 20-year tenure at Chicago Title Insurance where she served as a commercial examiner.
King previously served with NextAce Title Edge, a title automation technology, and will be based in the firm's Oak Brook office. Wheatland brings to the firm two decades of experience in sales and fundraising and will be working with the sales team.
