Jeff Gentry, vice president of Service 1st, has joined National Consumer Reporting Association as a newly elected member of the board of directors.

He will contribute toward the leadership efforts of NCRA in promoting the general welfare of its industry members, the businesses they serve, and the consumers whose information they report under the terms of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Gentry is a consultant in the mortgage service industry with almost 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and fraud detection services.

Robert Tyler-Cook has joined Planet Home Lending as senior vice president of the company's Western division.

Before joining Planet Home Lending, Tyler-Cook was division manager at Sun West Mortgage Co.

Prior to that, he served with W.J. Bradley Co., CitiMortgage and First California Mortgage Co.

Gateway First Bank has hired Tony Taveekanjana as executive vice president and chief production officer, subject to regulatory approval.

In his new role, Taveekanjana will oversee all retail and correspondent mortgage production across the country out of Gateway's offices in Dallas.

He has served in national sales positions with Envoy Mortgage, Movement Mortgage and Stearns Lending, as well as senior leadership positions at New Penn Financial, Fifth Third Bank and Countrywide Home Loans.

LoanLogics said that Brenda Clem has joined the company as chief product strategist.

Clem, who has more than 30 years of experience in residential mortgage operations, most recently served as executive vice president of capital markets for Pavaso.

Previously, she served as a consultant for Street Resource Group, where she was responsible for providing education and awareness for e-note and e-mortgage adoption.

Guaranty Home Mortgage Corp. has promoted Vicky West to EVP, national closing and shipping.

Working with GHMC since 1994, West has held several positions including management of quality control, secondary marketing and SVP of closing during her tenure.

The company also promoted Rex Hagood to chief development officer.

Hagood brings more than 30 years of experience to his role and has worked with GHMC since 2009.
