BankUnited has hired Benjamin Stacks as executive vice president and manager of commercial real estate lending for the bank's North region, which includes the New York metropolitan area.

A 25-year veteran of New York commercial real estate banking, Stacks joins BankUnited from Capital One Bank in New York, where he served most recently as senior vice president. He served nine years there, after holding various positions at HSBC Bank and M&T Bank.

MASSACHUSETTS

DANVERS

Mortgage Network Inc. has hired Marc Walz as a loan officer in its Providence, R.I., branch, serving Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Walz brings to Mortgage Network more than 25 years of mortgage banking experience, and before joining the company he was a private mortgage banker at Washington Trust Mortgage in Braintree, Mass.

MICHIGAN

GRAND RAPIDS

Mike Chilson has joined Northpointe Bank's Texas lending team as a loan officer in San Antonio and Steve White has joined its Colorado lending team as a loan officer in Colorado Springs.

Chilson comes to Northpointe Bank with more than 13 years of lending experience, with his most recent experience as a manager at Caliber Home Loans.

White comes to Northpointe Bank with more than 25 years of sales and banking experience with his most recent experience at Bank of the West.

RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corp. has named Bryan Camilli vice president of agency relationships and Cindy McGovern vice president of customer service.

Prior to joining RoundPoint, Camilli worked at Fannie Mae for 10 years, where he focused on product and policy development, and managed its special servicing portfolio for bankruptcy and foreclosure.

McGovern joins RoundPoint with 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, and has worked in originations, default and customer service.

CHARLOTTE

Grandbridge Real Estate Capital has promoted Alex Hilton and Rad Davenport to vice president and Paul McDonald to assistant vice president.

Hilton, located in the company's Kansas City, Mo., office, has been with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital since 2013. As a vice president he is responsible for the origination of commercial and multifamily loans, and sourcing institutional equity for real estate transactions.

Davenport, located in the company’s Norfolk, Va., is responsible for managing all phases of loan origination including structuring, underwriting, investor and borrower interface, and coordination towards closing.

McDonald, a transaction manager, is located in the company's Greenville, S.C., office. He is responsible for all phases of production support including underwriting and packaging new loans.
