Don't Forget the Human Touch

Our world has become so electronic and not personal that it doesn't take much for people to feel that you care and for you to deepen your relationships.

Here are a few ideas to get a little more human touch into your business:

• Pick up the phone. Email is great, but sometimes it is nice to hear a voice. Let people know you care. Check in with older prospects. Reconnect with Realtors you haven't heard from for a while. Let them know you are available and willing to help.

• Handwritten notes are worth their weight in gold. And gold is pretty expensive these days. Send out five a day, 10 a week, whatever number pushes you. Set a goal and stick to it.

• Drop by. I've been sharing lots of grabber marketing ideas. Easy, inexpensive and memorable.

• Send a little package by mail. Remember how excited you were when you were younger to get Grandma's package in the mail for your birthday? If your Realtors are not conveniently located, use this to stay fresh on their mind.

• Lunch, breakfast, coffee. Take your referral partner out to eat and you will find that you connect on a deeper level.

This business is all about relationships and if you don't have strong ones, you won't have a strong pipeline.
