My Email to Help My Realtors

I don't know about your area, but in my county, there are more buyers than sellers. Realtors are trying to increase their listing portfolio because they know it is a sellers market.  Here's the email I sent out this morning:

I saw a great article this morning over at CNNMoney that just might help be a motivation for your potential sellers.
Home prices at 9-year high

"The news on home prices in this report confirm recent good news about housing," said David Blitzer, Chairman of the Index Committee at S&P Dow Jones Indices. "Single-family housing starts are well ahead of last year's pace, existing home sales are up, the inventory of homes for sale is down and foreclosure activity is slowing." 

I've noticed a steady increase in values over the past 8 months and hopefully this will continue and allow more sellers to feel confident in putting their homes on the market.  Pass this article along to your database and hopefully you can get a few more listings in the next little bit.
