The Conference of State Bank Supervisors has promoted John Ryan to be its new president and chief executive.
Ryan will takeover from Neil Milner who will be stepping down at the end of this month after leading the organization for nearly 15 years.
Ryan is currently a senior vice president at CSBS and works with Congress on issues effecting state banking supervisors.
"His commitment to CSBS's mission combined with his excellent communication and leadership skills make him an invaluable asset to CSBS," said John P. Ducrest, CSBS chairman and Louisiana's financial institutions commissioner.
