Wingspan Portfolio Advisors, Dallas, named Ed Delgado chief operating officer.

Formerly CEO of the Five Star Institute, SVP of Wells Fargo and executive at Freddie Mac, Delgado has more than 20 years of experience in mortgage banking.

Prior to joining Five Star, he was SVP of government and industry relations at Wells Fargo.

In conjunction with being named COO of Wingspan, Delgado will remain affiliated with Five Star as chairman of the National Servicing Association, a newly formed nonprofit trade association representing more than 90% of mortgage banks in the U.S.
